Our first Massage Therapist!

We’re extremely excited to welcome our first Massage Therapist to Clinicbook’s online booking platform.

 

Jim Allen Massage Therapy in Burnaby has adopted our online scheduler which is automatically integrated with our online booking platform.

 

We’ll be adding more massage therapists as well as physiotherapists, chiropractors and optometrists over the coming months.

 

Our new web based scheduling software replaces the paper based scheduling that most allied health providers use. It’s a simple to use way to schedule appointments, manage patient contact information and attract new patients. Because it’s fully integrated with our online booking platform, we can instantaneously determine available appointment times and promote them to patients who are looking for immediate healthcare.

New Dentists in Vancouver, New Westminster and Surrey

We’re welcoming a large group of new dentists to clinicbook.

As we expand within greater Vancouver and outside of the Vancouver area we’re adding more features not only for our dentists but also for our patients. We’ve recently added automatic telephone appointment confirmations for dentists as well as a new referral program.
Our telephone confirmation feature will automatically contact patients before their upcoming appointment via telephone and allow them to confirm the appointment over the phone. If the patient doesn’t answer, the system will leave a voicemail and prompt the patient to contact the office.

 

Our referral program feature allows dentists to reach out to their existing client base and ask them to refer friends. Our system provides a custom referral URL for each patient allowing us to track who each patient has referred. We can then offer rewards to patients for referring friends and track/deliver the rewards accordingly.

 

For patients we’ve added some rewards for choosing a new dentist. We’ve also increased the number of dentist and appointments available. Some of the new dentists joining Clinicbook can be found here:

Pharmacological interventions for traumatic brain injury

Psychostimulants, antidepressants, and other agents may speed the recovery of patients suffering from the functional deficits that follow an insult to the brain.

ABSTRACT: Traumatic brain injury is common in North America and has dramatic and wide-ranging effects on survivors’ quality of life. Those who survive traumatic brain injury may experience anxiety, agitation, memory impairments, and behavioral changes. When managing the immediate and long-term consequences of such injuries, clinicians have many pharmacological options, including psychostimulants, antidepressants, antiparkinsonian agents, and anticonvulsants. These and other agents can play a role in managing the neuropsychiatric, neurocognitive, and neurobehavioral sequelae of injury to the brain.

Clinical: My difficulty with C. difficile

The name for the bacterium that causes antibiotic-associated colitis and pseudomembranous colitis is derived–most appropriately–from the Latin word meaning “difficult” or “troublesome.”ABSTRACT: Cases of Clostridium difficile antibiotic-associated colitis continue to be seen commonly and are now complicated by the enhanced virulence of some strains and the prevalence of these strains in certain regions. With the use of potent broad-spectrum antibiotics, severe and relapsing illnesses are becoming more common, especially among patients in institutional care. Metronidazole remains the drug of choice for initial treatment when treatment is warranted. Severe disease or repeated relapses are managed better with vancomycin. Novel therapies, including the use of probiotics, continue to be investigated. Prevention is essential to reduce the burden of illness and its associated economic costs, which are now considerable in most developed countries.

New Dashboard and Analytics for Page Owners

We’ve been working hard on our major feature release coming in January but we managed to squeeze in a couple of updates for Clinic page owners!

Clinicbook is now boasting a brand-new revamped page administration dashboard allowing you to more easily customize your page and post clinic information. We want to make this as easy as possible for Clinic Owners.

Even more exciting is the addition of pageview statistics for Clinic Owners. Customizing clinic pages helps clinics be found more easily by potential patients and clients. With the addition of pageview statistics, clinics can monitor how changes they make to their pages affect the number of pageviews they get. When we launch announcements and promotions (coming soon) for clinic page owners you’ll be able to boost your page traffic even more.

To check out your pageview statistics, Log in to your account and click “Pageview Stats” under your clinic name in your dashboard.
